Strategy: what to do, and in what order

When ads sort of work but the money isn't growing, the problem usually isn't the ads — it's the lack of a system. I break the business down by the numbers: unit economics, competitors, channels — and build a plan for what to do, in what order, and what it will bring in.

What you get

How the work is structured

Discovery

Interviews with you, access to the numbers: sales, average order value, current ad spend.

Analysis

I run the economics, review competitors and demand. This is usually where the first leaks turn up.

Strategy

I put together the document: findings, priorities, a channel plan with budgets and expected numbers.

Review and launch

We go through the strategy together, I answer questions. From there — you implement it yourself, or we do it together.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from an agency's strategy deck?

It's a working document with numbers and a sequence of actions, not an 80-slide deck about brand mission. Every recommendation is backed by a calculation.

My business is small. Do I even need this?

The smaller the budget, the more expensive a mistake is. For a small business, strategy is how you avoid burning six months and a lot of money on channels that were never going to pay off.

How long does it take?

Usually 3-4 weeks: a week for discovery and data gathering, two for analysis and the document, plus some time for revisions after we discuss it.

What if I don't have sales data?

That happens a lot. We work with what exists and estimate the rest from the market — and set up tracking so you have real numbers in a couple of months.
